Tulsa police arrested a man after he alledgedly carried a stolen handgun on the University of Tulsa campus.
Dustin Lee Barnes, 26, was taken into custody Friday on complaints of possession of a firearm on school property and knowingly concealing stolen property, an arrest report said.
Campus security observed Barnes walking on campus around 2:30 p.m. When he was stopped, he allegedly attempted to throw a gun under a squad car, the report said.
Barnes, who is not a TU student, was arrested without incident, police said.
A check of the firearm serial number revealed the gun was stolen, police said.
Barnes is being held in the Tulsa Jail on $11,500 bond.
