People & Places: Wine & Roses event to benefit Tulsa Garden Center

The Tulsa Garden Center's An Evening of Wine & Roses has been called "magical" by many who keep coming back year after year to enjoy the fine wines, great food and the heady fragrance of all those roses.
Come experience the enchanted evening when one of the region's largest wine tasting events is held from 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Tulsa Municipal Rose Garden.
We will enjoy more than 150 different wines from around the world, complemented by elegant hors d'oeuvres and desserts from some 35 of Tulsa's top restaurants and caterers. Tickets are $65 for Tulsa Garden Center members and $80 for non-members.
Prior to the main event, a private sponsor tasting will be held in the Tulsa Garden Center Mansion from 6 to 7:30 p.m. featuring wines from premium vintners and delicious fare from Tulsa's top chefs. Sponsorship tickets are $130 per person or 10 tickets for $1,100. A private table for 10 guests can be reserved for $1,600. Included in the price is the main event in the Municipal Rose Garden.
Wine participants include: Dynamic Brands Inc., E & J Gallo Winery, Glazer's Oklahoma, Oak Hills Winery & Vineyard, Paragon Brands, Premium Brands Wine & Spirits, Putnam Wines, Republic National Distributing Co., Select Wines & Spirits, Stable Ridge Winery, Stone Bluff Cellars, Summerside Vineyards, Thirst Wine Merchants, Tulsa Deco Wines, Whispering Vines Vineyards & Winery, and Woods and Waters Winery.

Deadline for reservations is Sept. 21, and space is limited. Those attending must be 21 or older. Proof of age is required.
