Brooke and Matt Kelley, owners of Lucky’s restaurant, have opened Lucky’s on the Green, 111 E. Brady St., in the Brady Arts District.
The restaurant is located on the north end of the new Guthrie Green park and will serve lunch and dinner.
The 14 items on the menu range from a $3 baked pretzel with Guinness mustard to two $10 dishes - cold fried Texas quail with potato salad, and Brie, honey and almond crostini.
Other interesting items include rabbit and pork belly bahn mi, a lamb and shrimp burger, and a Guthrie Green salad with asparagus and tomato with Green Goddess dressing.
More common items include chicken wings, chips and dip, empanadas, and gelato.
The restaurant has four beers, including one called This Machine IPA, bottled for the Guthrie Green area by Tulsa’s Marshall Brewing Co.
Kelley said a few wines also will be added to the beverage list soon.
Customers place orders with a credit card at two outside kiosks, then pick up their food at window counters.
“The kitchen space is so small it just wasn’t going to work having two extra people in there taking orders,” Matt Kelley said.
Lucky’s on the Green has a glass-walled dining room that can be converted to open-air in good weather.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
“We will offer beverages later on event nights,” Kelley said.
