OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma City schools Superintendent Karl Springer is about to pay off a wager he made on the NBA Finals with his counterpart in the Miami-Dade County school district in Florida.
Springer and Miami Superintendent Alberto Carvalho made a friendly wager on the outcome of the NBA championship series between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Miami Heat.
Because Miami won the series — Springer will teach a group of kindergarten students while wearing a Lebron James basketball jersey.
Springer will deliver the lesson next Wednesday via Skype from North Highland Elementary School in Oklahoma City.
