OKTAHA -- A Union Pacific train carrying coal derailed Thursday near Oktaha in Muskogee County, authorities said.
The train, along with 31 railroad cars, was southbound along Oktaha Road between 93rd and 103rd streets when it derailed, Union Pacific spokeswoman Raquel Espinoza said.
The crash sparked a small grass fire that was quickly extinguished, according to Espinoza and a fire dispatcher.
No one was hurt, they said.
Espinoza said the company is investigating the derailment and that it had not determined a cause by Thursday afternoon.
Crews are cleaning up the site, she said.
