Admiral Twin Drive-in fans can get their Clint Eastwood fix this weekend with a double-feature showing of his most recent acting efforts.
His new film opening Friday is "Trouble With the Curve," in which Eastwood plays an aging baseball scout making what might be his last recruiting trip and having his daughter (Amy Adams) accompany him on the trip. Justin Timberlake co-stars.
"Trouble With the Curve," rated PG-13, will begin at 7:25 p.m. Friday through Sunday and will be followed up about 9:30 p.m. each night by the R-rated "Gran Torino," Eastwood's 2008 hit in which he plays a gruff veteran who's grown tired of watching his neighborhood fall prey to crime.
After Eastwood's spaghetti-Western period, his vigilante-cop period and his serious-director era, this double-feature falls into his grumpy-old-man period.
The drive-in is located at 7355 E. Easton St., one block north of Interstate 244 between Sheridan Road and Memorial Drive.
The price for double-feature admission: ages 12 and older, $7; ages 3 to 11, $3; ages 2 and younger are free. On the drive-in's opposite side, family films "Finding Nemo" followed by "The Odd Life of Timothy Green" are screening Friday through Sunday.
