A Tulsa man who was charged earlier this year on kidnapping and rape complaints faces similar charges from a separate incident nearly three years ago.
Eric Joseph Beard, 34, was charged Friday with a single count of first-degree rape, Tulsa County District Court filings show.
Beard is alleged to have raped a woman on Nov. 20, 2009, court documents said.
In February, several felony counts, including kidnapping, assault and battery, were filed against Beard on accusations he raped a woman at his home in the 12300 block of East 13th Street, according to police records.
The victim told authorities Beard bound her ankles, hands and mouth with duct tape and zip ties before raping here over a four-to-five hour period on Feb. 5, a police report said.
Beard was most recently incarcerated between July 2003 and November 2007 after pleading guilty to armed robbery. He also pleaded guilty to drug trafficking and false impersonation to create liability in a separate case in 2003.
