Summit Christian 57, Liberty 56
Cameron Gilbert's two-point conversion pass to Jeremy Pelotte capped the Eagles' comeback from a 42-13 deficit. Pelotte's conversion followed Dagan Schroeder's 13-yard touchdown run with 30 seconds remaining. It was Schroeder's third TD of the game.
"It's the biggest comeback I've ever had," said Summit coach Ron Davis, whose team scored 24 points in the fourth quarter. "The kids will remember this game for the rest of their lives."
Summit (4-0) prevailed despite Liberty's Coleton McDonald accounting for 560 yards and seven TDs.
