The Second District congressional race is important. The individual who will fill this seat needs to represent Oklahoma in a positive manner. Television commercials are useless in giving me information as to the candidates' positions. Investigating their websites provides some additional information.
Democrat candidate Rob Wallace has identified positions related to the economy. There is nothing identified related to social issues or health care. Republican candidate Markwayne Mullin identifies his beliefs and no specific plan related to those beliefs. I find Mullin to be frightening and poorly informed.
In the earlier runoff, I watched the Second District debate held at Rogers State University (available at http://vimeo.com/channels/rsupublictv/46032317).
It is less than 30 minutes in length. Each voter in the Second District should view this video. Mullins is not even clear that he is running for a two-year congressional term.
