Creek County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man accused of fatally shooting another man after a dispute over noise at a Tulsa mobile home park.
William Buck Rodgers, 24, is being held without bond on a complaint of first-degree murder in the death of Robert Wayne Travis, 48, early Sunday, Undersheriff John Davis said.
Deputies found Travis lying in the driveway of a home in the Oaks Mobile Home Park, 8530 W. 85th St., around 1:30 a.m., Davis said. Travis had suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Davis said the men had gotten into an argument that escalated into a physical fight after Travis came to complain about the noise level of a gathering in the trailer park.
Rodgers is being held at the Creek County Jail without bond.
