Saks Fifth Avenue at Utica Square will host two representatives from designer Eileen Fisher on Thursday, complete with personal style advice and a 2 p.m. fashion show.

The event is a benefit for Tulsa Girls Art School, as Fisher will donate 5 percent of that day's sales - in addition to Saks donating a portion of its event sales - to the school, which is a grass-roots, local art studio dedicated to empowering underserved girls through visual arts education.

After the fashion show, light bites from Palace Cafe will be offered, and guests will have the opportunity to meet Amanda Meakim and Carol Beach from Fisher's wholesale merchandising team. They will take guests through seasonal trends and show how they translate to the collection.

Eileen Fisher is one of Saks Tulsa's most popular lines in its Wear Now department, said store spokeswoman Amanda Viles. The label is well-known for clothing marrying simple, versatile lines with textural fabrics and sumptuous yarns.

The fashion show is free, but please reserve your spot by contacting Viles at 918-744-0200, ext. 203 or amanda_viles@s5a.com.
