Letter to the Editor: Why not?

Why can't we get our roads fixed on a 24/7 basis? None of us alive today will live long enough to see all the roads in Tulsa rebuilt. Just think of the extra jobs it would create if the road companies had to have three different shifts to work a 24-hour day.

A huge hole showed up in our street in front of Mansion House. It almost took my front end out. Someone managed to put a warning sign in the middle of it some time later. Our roads are so bad it is almost impossible to get out of our driveways.

You guys at the Tulsa World should be able to do something to speed up the repairs on our roads - like a 24/7 working day. All it would take is a couple of big lights to make it possible.
