OK, let's see if I get this right. In Afghanistan, the police are killing the U.N. troops who are there to help the government establish a stable, democratic situation.

In Egypt, thousands are storming our embassy, endangering our people while the Egyptian government pays lip service to protecting U.S. personnel, and in Libya, our ambassador and three other embassy staffers are killed and possibly despoiled after their deaths.

So we continue to send billions of dollars to these nations that obviously cannot control their fanatics (if they are fanatics).

Our Oklahoma Sen. Jim Inhofe has said he is sponsoring a resolution that we "temporarily suspend" foreign aid to those countries involved in this obscenity.

Let us all support his effort and let our "leaders" in government know that we are totally fed up with any attempt to appease these people who spit on our country, our morals and our sense of decency.

If we can no longer ship oil from the Mideast, so be it. We have vast resources of natural gas and other replacements for their oil that they sell at such a dear price.

Americans have always responded to the most severe of challenges and we can do it again.
