Tulsa police have released the name of a shooting victim who was fatally wounded inside an apartment early Thursday.

Robert Max Long, 19, was found dead inside a residence at the Fairmont Terrace Apartmeents, 1111 E. 60th St., just after midnight, said Tulsa Police Sgt. Tim Lewandowski.

Another man in his late 30s or early 40s was also shot, police said. He was taken to St. Francis Hospital with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening, police said.

Investigators believe three men may have been involved. Sgt. Dave Walker described the shooter as a light-skinned black male in his 20s who was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.

There were no signs of forced entry and it appears Long might have known the assailants, he said. The motive of the shooting is believed to be a drug-related robbery, Walker said.

The homicide is the 37th this year.
