Joan Bradley Morgan passed away peacefully on September 26. Joan was born on August 1, 1931, the daughter of the late Mildred Reid Bradley and John Thomas Bradley. A proud lifelong resident of Tulsa, she graduated from Central High School, class of 1949, and attended Mills College, Oakland, CA. Joan was active in civic and community affairs in her earleir years. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and a sustaining member of the Junior League of Tulsa. In recent years she held various career interests with the Tulsa Symphonia, Resource Sciences, Laureate and the Tulsa Historical Society. She was devoted to and loved her family and many friends and will be missed by all. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Jennifer Abell Morgan, and two brothers, John Thomas Bradley and Thomas Reid Bradley. She is survived by another brother, Robert Paul Bradley of Palm Desert, CA and her children: Melissa Morgan Young (Tom), Destin, FL; Susan Morgan Niemi, Tulsa; Dudley Digges Morgan, III (Lynn), New Orleans, LA; Christopher Abell Morgan, Claremore; Timothy Abell Morgan (Lynse), Tulsa; and Michael Carroll Morgan (Marla), Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family also wishes to thank the staff of The Villages at Southern Hills for their care. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials to Trinity Episcopal Church, 501 S. Cincinnati, Tulsa 74103 or Magnolia School, 100 Central Avenue, Jefferson, Louisiana 70121. (Magnolia is a non-profit intermediate care facility administering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.)
