Letter to the Editor: A reminder

As we all know, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I think that men should be reminded a little more often that they are at risk as well as women. The risk for men is rare but it does occur. My son, who is 66 years old, was diagnosed recently and is undergoing a mastectomy. It is not feminizing to your manhood to have breast cancer. So please be safe.
