A Broken Arrow woman who is charged with manslaughter and driving under the influence when she was involved in a crash that killed a Wagoner County woman in east Tulsa has been arrested.
Donna Louise Murphy, 45, was taken into custody Sept. 28 on charges of first-degree manslaughter and driving under the influence in a crash causing great bodily harm, arrest records show.
The charges were filed Sept. 25 in Tulsa County District Court.
The fatal crash occurred just after 5 p.m. June 26, when Janie Hansen, 27, was driving south on Lynn Lane Road after stopping at the 21st Street intersection, and Murphy's westbound car struck her vehicle, according to a Oklahoma Highway Patrol accident report. Hansen was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her 17-year-old female passenger was injured and was taken to St. Francis Hospital for treatment.
Murphy had injuries that were not life-threatening, the patrol reported at the time.
