West Corp. will need 300 new seasonal and permanent employees this holiday season at its Tulsa call center, the company said Monday.

The company hopes to hire the employees for the call center positions between now and December as it ramps up holiday demand for the center’s primary client, which is a toy retailer, said David Pleiss, vice president of investor and public relations for the Omaha, Neb.-based company.

The company will be holding job fairs every Tuesday and Wednesday at the facility at 3810 S. 103rd East Ave. in Tulsa until it fills the positions.

The call center operates seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Starting wages at the facility range from $9.50 to $12.50 and benefits include an employee matched 401(k) plan and tuition reimbursement.

West Corp. opened in Tulsa 14 years ago and had 400 employees as of July 2012, when it said it was hiring an additional 100 new workers.
