Survivors accompanied by rescuers are taken onto shore early Tuesday after a chartered boat collided with a ferry and sank off Lamma Island near Hong Kong. Authorities said eight people were killed and 101 people were rescued. The hired vessel was headed to Victoria Harbor late Monday so passengers could watch a fireworks display celebrating China's National Day.
