STILLWATER – Wide-eyed with a red Afro, 13-year-old Cade John Poulos was remembered Tuesday morning as a bookworm and movie buff who maximized his short life.

An estimated 850 people filed into LifeChurch.tv to say goodbye to eighth-grader, who police said died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound Wednesday in a hallway at Stillwater Junior High.

The roughly 80-minute service included a 14-minute slide show of the teen -- affectionately known as “Carrot Top” -- and remarks from an uncle and grandfather.

“Thirteen years is not a lot of time to love someone,” said Pastor Charles Graham, of Dermott, Ark. “…But I can say with assurance that his life was full.”
