The state Department of Agriculture reported the following closing prices Monday at the Tulsa Stockyards:

Receipts: 3,194; week ago: 4,352.

Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers lower undertone very light test. Steer and heifer calves steady-$3 lower. Calves from 300-375 lbs. $3-10 lower. Quality attractive to plain. Demand very good for weaned calves. Supply included 20 percent over 600 lbs. 44 percent heifers,and 364 cows and bulls.

Compared to last week: Steer and heifer calves 2-4 higher. Feeder steers and heifers not well tested. Demand good for long weaned calves moderate for others. Demand moderate for feeder cattle as limited numbers made it difficult to create loads. Quality plain to average, end attractive. Feeder cattle in medium flesh. Weigh-ups average. Receipts curbed due to heavy rain in the area over the weekend.
