Betty Lou Haws born November 5, 1935, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 28, 2012. Graduated from Glenpool High School in 1953. Survived by husband, of 56 years, Norman, sister, Pam (Parker) Dixon, Summit MS, brother, Jerry (Rose) Jones, Little Rock AR, children, Cyndy Haws, Susan Haws, David Christy) Haws, Diane (Craig)Powell; grandchildren; Chris, Cole, Ethan, Elizabeth, David, Jessica, Caitlin and great-grandchild; Kayleigh. Betty, was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church, was active in the Fellowship Sunday School Class and the choir. She loved to minister through praise and worship, went on many mission trips around the world with church. Loved animals and was a member of the Tulsa Dog Club and Paw Pals. Betty will be remembered as loving wife, beloved mother and faithful witness. The love of the Lord was personified in everything she did. We will miss her dearly, but celebrate her life knowing she shared the gospel until the end. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at First United Methodist Church.
