Dana Andrew Cozort, 57, beloved son, brother, and uncle, was a heroic Tulsa firefighter for over 25 years. Larger-than-life, unfailing generous, and side-splittingly funny, he brought joy and laughter to all he knew. He was a notorious jokester and prankster who was never more than a moment from making his lovedones laugh, even in their darkest times. He was an avid reader who never lost his passion for learning. In his free time, he loved to fish, go scuba diving, and spend time with his family. Dana was born on November 8, 1954, the third child of his loving parents. Dana was a proud Webster Warrior at Webster High School where he excelled in academics and in sports before graduating in 1973. After high school, he attended Oklahoma Chris- tian University. Soon after, he found his true passion as a Tulsa firefighter, bravely fighting every day to save the lives of his fellow Tulsans. He is survived by mother Dorothy Cozort Ennis of Tulsa, OK; sister Rebecca Majors and husband Gary Majors, both of Tulsa, OK; nephew Jason Majors and wife, Sarah of Edmond, OK; niece Cassandra Majors of Austin, TX; and great-nephew Brody Majors of Edmond, OK. He was preceded in death by his father, James Cozort and brother, Terry Lee Cozort.
