State Senate President Pro Tem Brian Bingman said Thursday that workers compensation reform tops his agenda for next year's legislative session.
Speaking to the Tulsa Metro Chamber, Bingman said previous reforms to the workers comp system "don't work." He said tax reform, education and capital improvements are his other priorities.
Term-limited Speaker of the House Kris Steele, in one of his last appearances before leaving office, appealed passionately for a resolution to the state's health care woes.
"If Gov. Romney wins or President Obama wins, it is incumbent on us to have a plan in place," Steele said.
