Head downtown Saturday for Luchapalooza, a street party celebrating Mexican-style masked wrestling.

There will be food, fun, music - and, of course, the luchadors that have gained a cult-like following at downtown's Elote Cafe, 514 S. Boston Ave.

Expect matchups including: El Diablo vs. Bar Fly, Grasshopper vs. Black Widow, Stars and Stripes vs. ICU and El Fenix Blanc vs. the Donkey.

Organizers expect about 5,000 people to attend the street party this year.

The festivities start at 4 p.m. and last until 1 a.m., and Boston Avenue will be blocked from Fourth to Sixth streets.

Admission is $5 for adults; kids 12 and younger enter for free.

Activities for the children include a petting zoo, face-painting and making luchador masks. There will also be special circus stunts by luchadors.

Find live entertainment from Wink Burcham, Fiawna Forte, What's That? and Dr. Squeals Good.
