Soccer: OU's Ritchie eliminated

University of Oklahoma junior Whitney Ritchie was eliminated from the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif., late Tuesday in the second round of the qualifying round.
Ritchie, 60th in ITA preseason singles rankings, was defeated by South Florida's Ecaterina Vasenina, ranked 29th, in the second round, who outlasted the Sooner's comeback, 3-6, 6-1, 6-3.
