Jimmy Ray “Jim” Franks was born November 10, 1935 in Stigler to Everitt and Ruby (Mc- Caslin) Franks and died October 3, 2012 in Muskogee. Jim attended Stigler High School and was a graduate of the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He was a Certified Public Accountant working for Amoco as an auditor for 25 years. He retired to pursue his hobby of genealolgy. Survivors include; his wife: Beverly of the home, son: John and wife, Barbara of Tulsa, two sisters: Sue Schopper and hus- band, Jerrod of Tahlequah, Greta Corriea and husband, Manual of Germantown, Tennessee, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everitt and Ruby; three brothers, Bill, Bob, and Don; and two sisters, Virginia and Betty. Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Main Street Baptist Church-Stigler with Rev. John Pruett officiating. Burial will follow in Sans Bois Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler. Pallbearers will be; nephews.
