Woolslayer leads Metro Christian to 34-0 win over Dewey

Metro Christian quarterback Matt Woolslayer threw for 253 yards, three touchdowns and added 81 rushing yards in a 34-0 victory over Dewey on Friday.
The senior was 16-of-28 passing to help the Class 3A No. 6 Patriots (5-1 overall) win their fourth straight and improve to 2-0 in District 3A-5. Dewey fell to 3-3 and 1-2.
The Patriots' defense earned their fourth straight shutout, having also blanked Broken Bow 28-0, Pawhuska 47-0, and Blackwell 49-0.
Metro took a 7-0 lead when Woolslayer scored from 33 yards at the 7:37 mark of the first quarter.
It wasn't until a minute was left in the first half when Metro scored again when Woolslayer connected with Danny Burke for a 26-yard TD for a 14-0 halftime lead.
On their first possession in the second half, Woolslayer threw to sophomore Alex Schmitz for a 28-yard TD.
The last score came when sophomore Eyan Graybill ran for an 11-yard TD.
