General meeting with guest speakers fly-fishing authors Terry and Roxanne Wilson on "Cats, Carp, Gar and More!" Did you know that the shortnose gar can be stalked in the same manner as bonefish? HRC Fall International Grand Hunt: All day Saturday-Tuesday. Skelly Ranch, Catoosa. Three hundred eighty-seven of the country's top hunting retrievers are tested in realistic hunting scenarios as they work to earn the top United Kennel Club/Hunting Retriever Club title. Tulsa Bird Dog Association: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Club training grounds at 4240 Road and 640, Inola. Adult dog and puppy trials. Competitive field trials for adult dogs and puppies. Two dogs and handlers/brace. Dogs over 18 months will compete in Gun Dog trials. Lunch provided with entry fee, $40. Entries close on Thursday. Adults only.
