Lafayette and Patsy Boone of
Broken Arrow celebrated their
60th wedding anniversary Oct.
3, 2012. They were honored
with a family dinner at The
Polo Grill Sept. 25th. The event
was hosted by their children.
The couple married Oct. 3,
1952, at The Assembly of God
Church in Lockney, Texas.
They have three children: Paula
and John Turk, Pam and Jack
Hayhurst, and Danita Clark, all
of Broken Arrow. They have
eight grandchildren: Patrick and
Sarah Vick of Gunnison, Colo.;
Justin Turk of Carlsbad, Calif.;
Preston Vick of Los Angeles;
Tonya Turk of Garden Grove,
Calif.; Trevor and Candace
Hayhurst of McKinney, Texas;
Taylor and Eric Underwood of
South Ogden, Utah; Lauren and
Scott Tilley of Oklahoma City;
and Tyler Clark of Addison,
Texas. They have four greatgrandchildren:
Parker Vick and
Cody Vick, both of Gunnison,
Colo., and Londyn Tilley and
Elijah Tilley, both of
Oklahoma City.
Lafayette Boone retired in
1991 after 46 years with
Burlington Northern Railroad.
Patsy Boone was a nurse.
