Tulsa police on Monday released surveillance photos of a Dollar General store robbery last week.
A robber entered the store at 401 S. Lewis Ave. about 9:10 p.m. Oct. 2 and demanded money from a clerk, Cpl. C.J. Jackson said following the robbery.
The robber took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, which he carried away in a white plastic bag, and fled on foot, Jackson said.
The assailant is described as a black man in his 30s who is 6 feet tall and about 210 pounds.
He was wearing a hooded jacket, a black baseball cap, dark jeans and black shoes, police said. The store’s cashier told police the man had “a short, scraggly beard.”
Investigators believe he fled in a brown, older-model Chevrolet pickup.
Anyone with information about the robber is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS (2677) or at tulsaworld.com/crimestoppers.
