This year’s Country Music Association Awards co-host, Oklahoma star Carrie Underwood, also will perform live at this year’s show, organizers announced.
The three-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year joins a performance roster that includes fellow Okie Miranda Lambert, along with Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, The Band Perry, the Zac Brown Band, Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Kelly Clarkson and Underwood’s co-host Brad Paisley.
The list is sure to grow as the show date nears. The awards show will be broadcast live air 7 p.m. Nov. 1 from Nashville on the ABC network.
Underwood is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year, as are Lambert and Clarkson. This could be the third consecutive win for Lambert; Underwood also took home the title from 2006-2008.
