Sarah Lynn Carmichael, 17, of Germantown, went to be with the Lord Our Father on Saturday, October 6, 2012. She entered this world on September 22, 1995 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Scott Carmichael and Robin Carmichael.

For 17 amazing years, Sarah was a loving daughter, wonderful sister, caring niece and beautiful grandchild. Sarah was a junior at Houston High School, employed by Sky Zone, and volunteered at the Haunted Corn Maze. She attended Hope Presbyterian Church and volunteered annually for St. Jude. Of the many things that brought Sarah joy in this life, she especially loved softball, acting, being a member of her high school HOSA organization, music, and spending time with her family and friends. She was full of life and loved to have fun.

Sarah is survived by her mother Robin Carmichael of Germantown, TN, her father Scott Carmichael of Branson, MO, her big brother Bryan Carmichael of Germantown, TN, her grandparents Mary Jane Brown of Arlington, TN, Gwen and Don Wilson of Tulsa, OK, and Frank and Colleen Carmichael of Joplin, MO, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 9th at Hope Presbyterian Church, 8500 Walnut Grove Road. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 10th at Hope Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bret Spiegelman officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery East. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Regional Medical Center in Memphis, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Lifeblood.
