Arlene (Rea) Criner was born May 14, 1928, and passed away Sunday, October 6, 2012 at 1:00 pm at home, in Tulsa. She was the oldest of six children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arla B. and Pearl Lena Rea; one brother, John Thomas; one sister, Billie Cowen; and a son-in-law, David Harper. Arlene is survived by; two daughters: Diana Jones and husband, Ernie Jones, Barbara Harper, two sisters: Peggy Fagg, Joan Harmon and husband, James, one brother: Bobby and wife, Janice, five grandchildren: Shawn Jones and Lori; Biff Jones and Andrea; Rodney Jones and Alex; Courtney Harper Vann and Sam; and John Harper and Lisa, nine great-grandchildren: Sophie Jones, Ella Bae Jones, Livi Jones, Josie Jones, Owen Jones, Laney Jones, Tallulah Jones, MaKaylie Harper and Darcey Vann. Arlene graduated from Quinton High School in 1944 at the age of 16. She worked as a Park Director for 33 years for the Tulsa Park and Recreation Department, retiring in 1990. Graveside service will be 2 pm Thursday, October 11, 2012, at West Liberty Cemetery with Mr. Ernie Jones officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler. Honorary pallbearers will be; Danny Fagg, Mark Fagg, Brent Cowan, Darwin Rea, Ricky Rea, Gregory Rea.
