Let's hope Oklahoma country starlets Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert get along in real life because they're at each other's throats for yet another music award.

They're again going nose-to-nose over the 40th Anniversary American Music Awards, to air live 7 p.m. Nov. 18 on ABC. They're both nominated for Favorite Female Artist-Country.

Both compete with Taylor Swift, the third AMA nominee in that category.

Things have been scrappy all year between Lambert and Underwood.

Both are nominated for Best Female Vocalist in this year's Country Music Association Awards. Plus, each earned nominations for Female Vocalist of the Year from the Academy of Country Music Awards, along with Video of the Year nods from the Country Music Television Awards. (Lambert took the ACM award back in April; Underwood won the CMT award in June.)

Underwood earned a second AMA nomination in the Favorite Album-Country category for "Blown Away," where she's up against Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.

Rascal Flatts, featuring Picher native Joe Don Rooney, will go against the Zac Brown Band and Lady Antebellum in the Favorite Band, Duo or Group-Country category.

Numbers leaders include Nicki Minaj and Rihanna, who dominate with four nominations each. Justin Bieber, Drake, Usher, Maroon 5 and One Direction followed with three nods each.

For the sixth consecutive year, fans may vote for their favorites at tulsaworld.com/amas
