No one injured in Jenks bus crash

No students were injured when a Jenks school bus and another vehicle were involved in a wreck Wednesday morning in a south Tulsa neighborhood.
Emergency personnel were called about 8:30 a.m. to the intersection of 89th Street South and Toledo Avenue for a bus crash. It appeared initially that the bus collided with a SUV parked on Toledo Avenue.
Thirteen students from Jenks East Elementary School were on board the bus, school spokeswoman Dana Ezell said. None of the students nor anyone else involved in the crash was injured, officials said.
Damage to the bus was minimal and would be able to take to students to school once police finish their investigation, Ezell said.
