"Made in Jersey" wins the prize no TV show wants to win.

It has become the first casualty of the fall TV season.

CBS announced Wednesday it is pulling the low-rated drama about a street-smart young New Jersey lawyer (newcomer Janet Montgomery) trying to make it in a Manhattan law firm. The drama launched Sept. 28 with the lowest rated new series premiere of the season. It's second outing Oct. 5 was down 27 percent from the previous week, according to deadline.com.

Starting Nov. 2, "Undercover Boss" will return to CBS' Friday lineup in its former 7 p.m. time slot and "CSI: NY" will move back to the 8 p.m. slot.
