Letter to the Editor: Hogwash

Brice Bogle's "Equality for All" (Sept. 29), is a bunch of hogwash. He and other liberals demand that we all agree with them or else we are unfit to run for president.
Mitt Romney was asked about his beliefs on equal rights for gay people and he answered true, fully stating it is against his religious beliefs. That did not mean, however, that he would not defend them if he were elected president.
How about President Obama's Rev. Jeremiah Wright? Obama sat in Wright's congregation for 20 years, who repeatedly said G--d---- America, but Obama claimed he never heard Wright condemn America. How honest was that and what kind of religion is that?
Everyone has a right to personal beliefs without placing a spin on it. Evidently Bogle feels that if Romney doesn't believe as he does, he isn't fit to be president. That is his right not to vote for Romney but don't try to write false accusations and try to tell us he isn't fit to be president based on his personal religious beliefs.
