Jerry Lane Gamster was born February 24, 1939 in Highland, Illinois to Elmer Jay and Audra Lane Gamster and died Friday, October 5, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital after a lengthy battle with leukemia. Jerry graduated from Wheaton Community High School in 1957. In 1961, he graduated from the University of Tulsa, where he was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Jerry met and married Ronda Ree Thompson in 1973. Jerry is survived by his wife, Ronda Gamster; two sons, Todd Gamster and Lance Gamster; eight grandchildren; one brother, Lewis Gamster and one sister, Jana Shewey. Memorial service will be at 2:00PM Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at First United Methodist Church, Enid, Oklahoma. Burial of his cremains will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Enid, OK.
