Turning down 'Idol' was easy for Toby Keith
Five seconds.
That's how long Oklahoma native Toby Keith considered judging "American Idol" before he turned down the lucrative proposition, he recently told Country Music Television radio host Cody Alan.
He's also turned down a whole lot of offers for sitcoms, he said.
"I've been offered a sitcom over the last 10 years by every major network, and ... it ends up being too much time," he said.
His new studio album, "Hope on the Rocks," will be released Oct. 30.
