Marian H. Gray died at home on October 5, 2012, at age 91. She was born Marian Louise Hansen on August 31, 1921 in Davenport, Iowa, the first child of Harry O Hansen and Henrietta L Lamp. After graduating from the University of Iowa in 1943 with a BA in Economics, she worked in Davenport and then joined the Red Cross in 1945, which assigned her to the Club Mobile service in Europe. It was in Mosbach, Germany that she met Major Paul Gray Jr, whom she married on August 17, 1946. After many moves, Marian and Paul settled in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1977, where she was very active in Chapter DE of PEO, the LaFortune/South Lakes Woman’s Golf Association and Winter Bridge Group, and her Sungate neighborhood. Marian is survived by her son Robert (Sharon Hoogstraten) of Chicago; daugh- ter Barbara (David Percival) of Ridgefield, WA; stepsons Russell (Judy) of Orinda, CA and Howard (Linda) of Hot Springs Village, AR; two granddaughters (Lisa and Sara Percival); four grandsons (Alex, Dillon, Matt and Ryan) and great-grandson Silas. She is also survived by her two sisters, Jean Priester of Davenport, IA and Margaret MacNider of Clear Lake, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul, and son Jim.
