Dr. Leonard Houx, 89, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 in Tulsa, OK. Born September 17, 1923 in Bald Hill, OK to Ernest Theodore and Lela (Ticer) Houx. Retired Podiatrist Foot Surgeon. Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lucille Allison, brother, Johnny Houx. Survived by his wife, Sarah; son, David Houx and wife, Linda, daughters, Debbie Munson, Diana Sue Slaton and husband, C.W., and Donna Bruce; step-sons, William Welch and wife, Theresa, Steven Welch and Anna, Doug Welch and wife, Connie, Paul Welch, and David Welch and wife, D’Ann; sister, Charlene Dorr, nineteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Family suggests, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to West Tulsa United Methodist or First Presbyterian Church- Tulsa, or a charity of your choice. Memorial service will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, October 12, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church-Tulsa.
