High school football: Convincing Winners

These three undefeated teams haven't played anything that has resembled a close game this year.

Kiefer

The Class A No. 4 Trojans' move up to 11-man football has been smoother than even they could have imagined. Kiefer shut out its first four opponents and its six victories have been by an average margin of 32.8 points. Carlos Capehart leads the defense with 72 tackles and four sacks. Austin Ford has returned four punts for touchdowns.

Vian

The 2A No. 1 Wolverines are an offensive juggernaut, averaging 59.5 points and they have an average winning margin of of 57 points. They have allowed only 15 points - best in 11-man football. Their scores have been 55-6, 62-6, 57-0, 68-0, 62-3 and 53-0. Vian's offense is led by Landon Decker, Warren Zachary, Rowdy Simon and Eric Casey.

Wetumka

The Class B No. 2 Chieftains have an average winning margin of 41.3 points. Their schedule has included lopsided wins of 64-22 over No. 8 Davenport and 52-12 over No. 4 Dewar. Their highest scoring output was in a 72-22 win over Cave Springs. Derrick Moore leads the state in rushing (1,346 yards) and scoring (154 points). Chase Williams has scored on four punt returns.
