Glenpool man shot to death

GLENPOOL -- A 31-year-old man was fatally shot Thursday night outside a Walmart.
Mark Coble of Glenpool was shot behind the store at 12200 S. Waco Ave. around 9 p.m., Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown said.
He was among two groups of people who were fighting there when one man pulled a gun and fired, Brown said.
A friend called 911 as he drove Coble to a home in the 14600 block of West 141st Street, where Coble died before emergency crews arrived, Brown said.
The shooter and his group fled before authorities arrived, she said.
"We're running some really good leads right now," Brown said Friday. "It’s only a matter of time before we figure out what happened and who was involved."
The OSBI is assisting Glenpool police in the investigation, she said.
