Holland Hall graduate Hillary Bach is one of nine finalists for NCAA Woman of the Year. The winner will be announced Sunday during a ceremony in Indianapolis.

A total of 429 female student-athletes were nominated for the 22nd annual award.

The award honors graduating women who have distinguished themselves throughout their collegiate careers in the areas of academic achievement, athletics excellence, service and leadership.

Bach, who graduated from Arizona State in three years with an undergraduate degree in business marketing in 2011, was a pitcher for the Sun Devils softball team and was named Pac-12 Conference Woman of the Year last August.

She was awarded an NCAA postgraduate scholarship in July and is working toward a master's degree in business administration.

This past softball season, Bach was one of the Sun Devils' top pitchers, going 22-1 with a 1.51 ERA in 143.2 innings.
