Pickup driver dies after colliding with Chickasha Public Schools bus

CHICKASHA — Authorities said one person was killed when a pickup truck crashed into a school bus in Grady County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the pickup's driver died in the crash Monday afternoon on U.S. 62 and Oklahoma Highway 39. Officials said the bus belonged to the Chickasha Public Schools district.
The Chickasha Fire Department tells Oklahoma City television station KOCO that eight or nine kids were on the school bus at the time of the collision, but none was injured.
The crash remains under investigation and the victim's name has not yet been released.
