Letter to the Editor: Things OK

Here's my thinking: I'm 50-plus-year-old Harley-riding blue-collar manufacturer and I have to admit (as do most of my associates) that I'm making more now (in dollars per hour) than I was four years ago. I'm not nearly as worried about my 401K now as I was in 2008 and I'm pretty darn sure my job is secure (75 percent sure).
They (President Obama?) haven't come for my guns and my church is still preaching the good word. I have a teenage daughter and "I" will be the one to teach birth control, something that is "my" responsibility, not that of my church or my daughter's school.
I have one son in the Air Force and one son learning to be a manufacturer. How in the world am I supposed to vote for some multi-millionaire clown who (cannot) thinks he deserves to be president because he has made more money than I have by "harvesting" various businesses?
President Obama is far from perfect but there isn't a doubt in my mind that my road and his are far closer to parallel than the perpendicular path his opponent offers.
