So now the preachers are wanting to instill their political preferences in their captive flock. We already have a law against this that takes away the tax-free status of the church. If the congregation of any denomination lets this happen, you are nothing more than lemmings being lead to the cliff. Whenever there are enough people congregated, there comes the influence of the slimy snake, called money.
Hey, preacher, how would you like some help with your new kitchen? How would you like some help with your new altar? How would you like some help with your new bingo cards? If you people in the congregation don't get enough of this political ranting from your televisions and your newspapers, then you deserve to be hammered by your preacher.
A preacher is supposed to educate us to the writings in the Bible and help us find the way to the promised land. The church is a sanctuary from corruption and greed. The American politics of today is just that - full of corruption and greed. So if you so-called religious preachers want to push your political agenda, go get a soap box and stand outside in the yard. Do not bring it into the church.
