Police are searching for the person who fired several shots at a car in a Tulsa neighborhood late Tuesday, causing the vehicle to crash.

Someone shot at the car in the 1300 block of North Nogales Avenue about 7:40 p.m., causing the driver to lose control and crash into some bushes next to a house, Sgt. Michael Brown said.

The driver, who was not cooperating with police, was not injured, Brown said.

Brown confirmed that bullet holes were found in the car.

Two other people were also in the vehicle at the time of the shooting, but they were not there when police arrived, and the driver told police that he didn't know their whereabouts, Brown said.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or tulsaworld.com/crimestoppers.
