House fire displaces seven

Seven people were displaced after a house fire late Monday, fire officials said.
Firefighters were called to the 1500 block of South 137th East Avenue at 11:27 p.m., said Fire Capt. Stan May.
Investigators determined the fire was accidentally caused by smoking materials or a portable light, he said. The home and its contents sustained $24,000 in damage.
The Tulsa chapter of the American Red Cross was called to assist two adults and five children who lived in the home.
